Mark William Stedman, 70, of Lake Placid went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at his home. Mark was born in 1950 to Natalie Collins and Jerry Stedman in Geneva, New York. He served his country with honors as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. He was a long time Construction Contractor and Inspector, not only here in Florida but all over the world assisting the US Government in building barracks for our troops. He was a long time Christian and a member of the NRA. He enjoyed fishing, feeding the wildlife, target shooting and playing Santa Claus during the Christmas Holidays. Mark is survived by his four loving children; Chris, Jennifer, Shawn & Lindsey Stedman, His sisters; Martha and Elizabeth, His Brother; Jim. A service to celebrate Mark's life will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 6, 2020 at the Scott Funeral Home 504 W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid with military honors by the United States Marine Corp Honor Guard.
