Mark Alan Spicer, 41, of Lake Placid went to be with his Lord on Friday night November 14, 2014. Mark was born on March 11, 1973, in Willimantic, CT to parents Lynda A. (Hamilton) and James L. Spicer. Mark moved to Lake Placid from Connecticut five years ago and was a salesman in the automotive industry. Mark was the family comedian who enjoyed telling a good joke at family gatherings, riding his motorcycle, playing the guitar, and fishing and loved spending time with his family and friends. Mark was of the Baptist faith. Mark was well loved and will be deeply mist by those who know him. He is preceded in death by his loving mother Lynda and is survived by his loving father, James; sisters, Sherry Spicer, Bobbie Jo Caswell (Jeff) and Brenda Spicer; brothers, James "Mike" Spicer (Holly) and Nick Spicer and several nieces and nephews. Services to celebrate Mark's life will be held at a later date at the Sunshine RV Resort in Lake Placid.
