Mark Alan Miller, 74, of Lake Placid, FL went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday morning, October 28, 2026, at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Sebring, Florida. Mark was born on May 23, 1952, in Marietta, Ohio. He was the son of Betty Jean (Taylor) and Charles J. Miller. Mark has been a resident of Florida for many years, having moved to Florida as a young child. He and his wife have lived in Texas, Minnesota, and Arkansas as well, moving most recently back to Florida in 2023. He was of the Christian faith and attended the Spring Lake Methodist Church. Mark was both a carpenter and landscaper. He took his passion for the latter and started his own business. He enjoyed being outdoors, surfing, building houses, landscaping, and following his favorite driver and team in NASCAR. Mark loved to spend time with his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Leesha, daughter; Natasha Chandler, son; Mark Alan Miller Jr., grandchildren; Dylan Miller, Mikayla Rutledge, Tyler Rutledge, Serenity Miller great-grandchildren; Kohen and Karter Poole, a sister; Pam Dietz and Pam’s children and grandchildren.
