Marion Spires, 91, of Lorida, FL. passed away peacefully on Monday, October 27, 2025, at her life long home with her eldest granddaughter, Tina Marie Prescott by her side. Marion was a native Floridian who was born in Lorida on March 2, 1934. She was the daughter of Demaris Elizabeth (Hunter) and Frank Aaron Hill.

Marion worked most of her years as a manager at the local gas stations in both Okeechobee and Highlands County. In her younger years she enjoyed dancing with her father at the local dance hall & learning to cook & sew with her mother. Beyond that, she enjoyed reading, sitting on her porch, watching the squirrels and birds eating together on her feeders, working in the yard, planting flowers, going to Istokpoga Park, fishing the local lakes & ponds, sewing, baking for her family, shopping the thrift stores for deals and going to rodeos & karaoke. However, most of all, she loved spending time with her family & friends & was always known to have at least one of her grandchildren with her at all times.

Marion is survived by two of her four beloved sons, Jackie Ray Prescott and Billy Ray Spires, her 8 grandchildren, Tina Marie, Sara Marie, Brian, Bobby, Danny, Brittany, Emily & Billy Jr., 16 great-grandchildren and her sister, Rosalie Padgett.
