Marie Williams, 63, of Lake Placid went to be with her Lord Wednesday evening August 4, 2010 at the Hospice of the Comforter Hospice House in Altamonte Springs, FL. She was born on September 16, 1946 in Chattanooga, TN to parents Carmen and Pearl (Roberts) Heaton. Mrs. Williams moved to Lake Placid in 1960 from TN and was a homemaker, and member of The Ministry Center in Lake Placid. Mrs. Williams is survived by her loving husband of 49 years Howard, daughters: Carol Cecil (David) and Lisa Fitzgerald (Louis), 6 grandchildren; Stephanie and Jacob Cecil, Jeremiah, Rebecca, Kayle and Grace Fitzgerald, sisters; Darlene Murray and Hope Cross, brothers; Tony, Melvin and Jr. A visitation for family and friends will be Monday August 9, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a service celebrating Marie's life following at The Ministry Center 770 CR 29 Lake Placid with Lonnie Wells and Melinda Brown celebrating. Burial will follow the services be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
