Maria H. Becerra Barragan, 73, of Lake Placid went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at the Advent Health Hospital in Sebring. Maria was born in Mexico on December 18, 1951. She was the daughter of Esperanza (Orozco) and Jesus Barragan. Maria has been a resident of Lake Placid for many years and was a retired nursey worker in the agriculture industry. Maria was of the Catholic Faith who enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. She is survived by her loving husband Salvador Becerra, son Noe F Becerra daughters Gabriela Becerra, Carina R Ramos, Adela Becerra, Yuliana E Becerra. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Maria's life will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, March 21, 2025, at the Comunidad Catolica Hispana Santigo Apostol Church 685 CR 621 Lake Placid, FL with Father Felix Gonzalez officiating. Burial will follow the mass at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Placid.
