Margo Lynn Hughes, 85, of Lake Placid went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at the Balmoral Assisted Living.  Margo was born on January 26, 1939, in Muskegon, Michigan.  Margo was the daughter of Inez (Pointer) and Matthew Faust.   Margo has been a permanent resident of Lake Placid since 2011, moving here from Alabama.  She was a retired real estate agent.  Margo was an active member of the St, James Catholic Church in Lake Placid.  She enjoyed social events around town and at the church.  She loved being with her family, friends and beloved animals.   Margo is preceded in death by her loving son; Ken Wright and she is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, John, daughters; Laura Vernon (Darrell), Tammy Stevens (Tom), Lisa Hensen (Rick), Stacey Rademacher (Ryan), John Hughes (Amber) grandchildren; Kevin, Corey, Amanda, Jeremy, Heather, Jacob, Ryan, Brandon, Connor, Harper, Ashlyn, Addison, nine great-grandchildren.  A memorial mass to celebrate Margo's life will be held 11 AM, Friday, October 18, 2024, at the St. James Catholic Church 3380 Placid View Drive, Laked Placid, FL with Ft.
