LENNON, Margaret B. (Margie), 87, of Lake Placid, Florida died Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Florida Hospital Lake Placid. Formally of Miami, and made Lake Placid her home for the past 30 years. Predeceased by James P. Lennon, survived by her loving companion and best friend, Ed Clement, loving mother of Mike Rafferty (Marlene) of Sebring, Alice Rafferty Lawrence of Homestead, Rick Rafferty (Diane) of Sebring, Kimberly Rafferty Vermillion (Keith) of Gainesville. Grandmother of Joey and Jake Rafferty (Tonya), Stephenie Pilgrim (Rich), Michael Lawrence, Dallas Parker (Kendall), Kurt, Kyle and Kevin Vermillion. Great-Grandmother (GG) to Jake and Jenna Pilgrim, Bryson Stewart, Jordan and Austin Parker.
She was past President of the Shamrock Society and active in the Moose Club. She loved traveling, camping and enjoyed gardening. She was voted "#1 Grandma" in the state of Florida. Her house was a home to all who visited there but most of all she loved and cherished her family and served as their biggest fan in all their endeavors. Her life was a testament to her love of God and her family. A celebration of her life will take place at Scott Funeral Home, 504 W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid on Saturday, January 8, 2011 with visitation from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and service from 3:00 to 4:00 pm.
