Lucja Michalowska, 81, of Lake Placid went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at the HCA Florida Hospital Sebring.  She was born on August 2, 1942, in Poland.  Lucja has been a resident of Lake Placid since 1993, moving here from Massachusetts.  She was of the Catholic faith.  She enjoyed fishing, cooking special meals for family and friends, crafts, collecting angles.  She loved to be with her family and friends anytime they could get together.  Lucja is survived by her loving husband of James, daughter; Jadwiga Waloch, grandson: Adam Waloch.  In keeping with Lucja's wishes, the service to celebrate her life will be private for the family.  Please keep James and the family in your thoughts and prayers.
