Louise Mansfield, 72, of Lake Placid went to be with her Lord on Friday July 30, 2010 at the Florida Hospital Lake Placid. She was born on March 17, 1938 in Battle Creek, MI to parents Oscar and Helen (Vincent) Stark. A retired assembly line supervisor with Magnavox Electronics, she moved to Lake Placid from Indiana in 1997. Mrs. Mansfield was a Life Member of the VFW Post 1186 Auxiliary and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Mansfield is preceded in death by her loving husband George, daughter; Beverly Underwood, a great granddaughter; Audra Alen Hawkins, her parents and a sister Helen Beaty and is survived by her loving sons; Mike and Glenn Hawkins, 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, a sister; Patricia White brothers; Leon and James Stark and many nieces and nephews. A service celebrating Louise's life will be held 6:30 PM Wednesday evening August 4, 2010 at the Alpine Village Club House State Road 70 East Lake Placid with Pastor Wayne Godwin celebrating.
