Lillian L. Morris, age 77, passed from this earth to her Heavenly home September 6, 2010. She moved to Lake Placid from Lutz, FL in 2001 where she had retired from Saddlebrook Resort and Golf Club. She was their Accounts Payable Supervisor for 19 years. Mrs. Morris was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Placid; a member of the Dorcas Sunday School Class and was a resident of Covered Bridge Community. She was preceded in death by her husband J.D. Morris and her parents Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Johanson. She is survived by her brothers; Dr. Ed (Ellie) Johnson of Farmington, MN; Roy (Fran) Johanson of Miami, FL; Carl (Arlene) Johanson of Bullhead City, AZ; Ray (Carole) Johanson of N. Las Vegas, NV and a sister; Vivian (Don) Bortz of Lake Placid. She was also much loved by her 10 Nieces and Nephews. Services celebrating Lillian's life will be held 4:00 PM Wednesday afternoon (Today) September 8, 2010 at the Scott Funeral Home 504 W. Interlake Blvd. Lake Placid. Visitation will be one hour before the services celebrated by Dr. Ed Johnson and Pastor Mike Ford. Burial will be at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the nurses and staff at the Lake Placid Health Care Center.
