Lillian M. McNeeley, 81, of Lake Placid went to be with her Lord on Wednesday morning July 9, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 6, 1932 in Pulaski, VA to parents Ellen Marie (White) and Stanley G. Tippet. Mrs. McNeeley has been a resident of Lake Placid since 1989 moving here from Moore Haven and previously of Orlando. Mrs. McNeeley was a member of the Lake Placid Red Hat Society, TOPS, United Methodist Women, and the Memorial United Methodist Church in Lake Placid. Mrs. McNeeley enjoyed square dancing and gardening and loved spending time with her loving family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Donald Sr.; daughters, Debra Marie Diender (Michael), Janet Burton (Steve) and Judy Brim (Bill); son, Donald McNeeley Jr. (Nancy); 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and a sister Rhodella Gills. A service to celebrate Mrs. McNeeley's life will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday July 12, 2014 at the Memorial United Methodist Church
