Lillian D. Kirk, 94, of Lake Placid, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 10, 2011, at Florida Hospital Lake Placid. She was born on April 24, 1917 in Everett Mass. to parents James and Lena (Simonetti) Cornoni. Mrs. Kirk served her country in the US Army (WAC) during WWII. Mrs. Kirk moved to Lake Placid from Dayton, OH in 1985 along with her husband. She enjoyed a good game of bridge, and loved spending time with her extended family and friends. She was a member of the St. James Catholic Church in Lake Placid. Mrs. Kirk is preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years George and is survived by her loving sister Lena Perrone, sister-in-law; Sue Kirk and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Mrs. Kirk's life will be held 10:30 AM January 20, 2012 at the St. James Catholic Church 3380 Placid View Drive Lake Placid.
