Obituary

Lee Dyal of Lake Placid, Florida, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday morning, February 4, 2021 at the age of 94.  Lee was born on September 5, 1926 in Brooker, Florida and moved with her husband to Lake Placed from Miami in 1988. She is a Child of the King, and was the beloved daughter of Lovonia (Hines) and William Thomas, youngest sister to fourteen siblings, faithful wife to Vernon Wesley Dyal, loving mother to Linda Mae Roloff (Stan) and Verna Lee Miller (Robert), best Granny ever to grandchildren; Connie Beth Fox, Sandra Lee Shoesmith (Warren), Lisa Joy Barnes (Bobby), Clint Miller (Kim), great-grandchildren; Brendon Fox, Kristopher Riggs, Kathryn Savage (Joe), Kelsie Riggs, great-great grandchildren; Khloe and Konner Riggs, Emily, Cheyenne and Brianna Mann, JJ Savage, Madison Riggs, Kaitlyn Joy Fowler, Isaiah and Jillian Barnes, and Parker Miller.  She was a member of the South Oak First Baptist Church of Lake Placid.  She enjoyed fishing in the Florida Keys, on Okeechobee Lake and the local lakes with her husband, being active in church, and listening to live music - especially the bands that included family members and friends. She cherished the time she spent with family and friends. She was a woman who truly lived out her faith daily and shared that faith and her love of Jesus with everyone she met. Lee is preceded in death by the love of her life Vernon Wesley Dyal (1991) and all of her siblings. She is survived by her loving daughters; Linda Mae Roloff (Stan), Verna Lee Miller (Robert), grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and wonderful friends. Lee will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Dade Memorial Park, Miami, Florida.
