Lawrence S. Barch, 90, of Sebring, FL., went to be with is Lord on Wednesday morning June 22, 2011 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Sebring. Mr. Barch was born on August 9, 1920 in Brooklyn, NY to parents Stanley and Elizabeth (Zawacki) Barch. He served his country in the US Cost Guard during WWII. A retired design engineer in the aircraft manufacturing industry, he moved to Sebring in 1986 from Athens, GA. Mr. Barch was of the Catholic faith. Mr. Barch is survived by his loving children; Mrs. Martha Ann Gregory and Mr. Terry Lee Barch, 2 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. A service to celebrate Lawrence's life will be 12 Noon Saturday June 25, 2011 (today) with a gathering for family and friends one hour prior at the Scott Funeral Home 504 W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid with Chaplain Jim Langham celebrating. Burial to follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
