Larry Allen Lee Sr., 67, of Lake Placid was born on July 30, 1954 in Houlton, Maine and was the son of Betty Phieffer and Robert E. Lee. He went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, August 4, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife Beth; his sisters Cathy, Linda, Nancy; his brothers Steve and Robert; his son Larry Jr., Daughter Melissa, Stepsons Brandon, Nicholas and Tyler, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. After retiring from the airfreight industry, he worked as a boom truck operator in Maine for several years. He and his wife moved to Highlands County six years ago where they worked together as community managers. Larry was a faithful member of Independent Baptist church in Sebring. He loved being outdoors, whether it was fishing or boating, enjoying a round of golf with friends, or traveling. He loved spending time with his church family and friends whenever they could get together and would always go the extra mile to help those in need. A memorial service will be held in his honor at Independent Baptist Church of Sebring 5704 County Road 17 S. Sebring on Friday, August 13th at 7:00pm with Pastor Joshua Goodwin officiating.
