Kristianna Maria Cardenas, 32, of Lake Placid went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday morning, September 17, 2026, after fighting a long, beautiful battle.

Kristianna was born and raised in Lake Placid, Florida on November 8, 1993, here in Lake Placid.

She was the daughter of Kathy Jo (Fowler) and Sergio Luis Cardenas Sr. Krissy was a social worker and CNA at the Lake Placid Health and Rehabilitation Center, where her caring heart and love for others touched the lives of many. She was a woman of strong faith who carried God’s love in her heart and found comfort and strength in her relationship with him. She was a member of Oasis International Revival Center, where she worshiped and continued to grow in her faith. Krissy was known for her beautiful smile, infectious sense of humor, and ability to bring laughter and life into every room she entered. She was a fighter who faced life challenges with courage, faith, and strength that inspired those around her. Even through her hardest days, she continued to show love, care for others, and bring joy to the people she cherished. She found her greatest happiness in spending time with her children, Katalina Annahi Macias and Juan Carols Arceo Jr., her family, and friends. Krissy's love was genuine, her laughter unforgettable, and her presence brought warmth and light to the lives of those who knew her. She will always be remembered for the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the beautiful person she was. Krissy is survived by her loving children; her two sisters, Diana Cardenas and Yolando Cardenas; and her six brothers, Sergio Cardenas Jr., Daniel Cardenas, Miguel Cardenas, Emilio Cardenas, Denicio Cardenas, Leonardo Cardenas and her loving parents.

A service to celebrate Kristianna life will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Scotts’ Funeral Home, 504 W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid, FL. The family will receive friends one-hour prior to the service.

Krissy’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
