Kenneth Earl Wilkerson, 55, of Lorida, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at the Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring. He was the son of Lily Sweeney and Earl D. Wilkerson who was born on August 31, 1959 in Annapolis, MD. A truck driver for the past 26 years, Kenneth drove for a food distribution company in Maryland. He moved to Lorida in 2011 from Maryland. Kenneth was of the Christian faith and was a member of the Eastport Volunteer Fire Department Station 36 in Maryland. Kenneth loved being with his family and friends. He enjoyed crabbing and working around the house, especially the yard. He is preceded in death by his loving father Earl; step-father James Wilburn who raised him like a son from the age of 9 years old. Kenneth is survived by his loving son, Andrew K. Wilkerson (Angela); mother, Lily Wilburn; sisters, Terry Wilburn, Debbie Lewis (Dan) and Karen Puckett (Mark); brothers, Dale Wilkerson (Susan), Alan Wilkerson (Penny) and Jimmy Wilburn (Courtney). A service to celebrate Kenneth's life will be held at a later date on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland
