Karyn Levia-Sofia, 60, of Lake Placid went home to be with her Lord on Monday, June 6, 2022 at her residence. Karyn was born on March 6, 1962 in Hackensack, New Jersey and was the daughter of Edward and Linda Ardire . Karyn has been a resident of Lake Placid for the past three years, moving here from Cape Coral, FL. She was a waitress at the Sammy's New York Style Pizzeria . Karyn was a member of the St. James Catholic Church in Lake Placid. She en joyed different local events, and loved to be with her family and friends anytime th ey could get together . Karyn is survived by her loving husband David, sons; Ricardo and Damian, two grandson, Octavius and Dante; and four sisters . A service to celebrate Karyn's life will be held 11 AM, Saturday, June 18, 2022 at the Scott Funeral Home 504 W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid with Father Vincent Clemente officiating.
