On February 7th, 2025 Kaedince  Lohan Ruelas, 17, of Lake Placid, Florida gained her wings and went to be with the Lord. A native Floridian, she was born on February 18, 2007 in Sebring, Fl. Kaedince was of the Christian Faith.
Growing up, Kaedince played soccer, softball, volleyball and even did dance. Playing softball was her passion as well as hanging out with friends and family, and of course-spending every second possible with her boyfriend, Bo. Kaedince loved being outside and loved animals of any kind. Anybody who knew Kaedince, knew she loved to laugh. Kaedince was a Senior at Lake Placid High School and a member of the Lake Placid High School Varsity Softball Team and played travel ball since she was 8 years old. During her many years on the clay, Kaedince made lots of friends and impacted many lives. She was very versatile and played many positions, but she was best known as an "Ace Pitcher".
Kaedince is survived by her father, Guillermo Ruelas and her Mother Whitney Keene, sister; Kyndle; grandfather and grandmother Guillermo and Maria Ruelas, grandfather William Keene, grandmother Delores McDaniel, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Kaedince will be remembered for her contagious laugh, her beautiful smile, gorgeous eyes, and her grit on the diamond. Her memory will live on in all that had the pleasure of knowing her.
Kaedince's memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd at The Ministry Center located at 8475 Sparta Rd., Sebring, FL 33875. The family will be receiving guest at 1 PM with services starting at 2 PM.

In Honor of Bo and Kaedince, There is a Bo and Kaedince Memorial Fund. Our intention is to use these funds to create scholarships for college or trade schools, as well as provide support for families in need. It is our goal to continue raising funds in their memory for years to come, keeping their legacy alive and helping children access opportunities they may not have had.
