Joyce E. Baldwin, 74, of Lake Placid went to be with her Lord on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the Blake Medical Center in Bradenton. She was born on August 17, 1941 in Knoxville, Tennessee. After retiring Mrs. Baldwin and her husband moved to Lake Placid 13 years ago from Key Largo, FL where they lived for 28 years. Mrs. Baldwin volunteered at the Lake Placid Chamber of Commerce and helped at their different events. Mrs. Baldwin enjoyed fishing, traveling, cross stitch, cooking family meals and volunteering at the caladium festival. She loved to be with her family and friends. Mrs. Baldwin was of the Baptist faith. Joyce is preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years Dale and she is survived by her loving children Lisa Frins (Jay), Debbie Perry (Jerry) and Carl Baldwin; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A service to celebrate Joyce's life will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Scott Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Godwin officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow the services at the Lake Worth Memory Gardens.
