Joseph J. Busch Sr., 86, of Lake Placid went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Sebring. He was born on April 19, 1931 in Lockport, New York. Joseph served his country with honors in the US Navy. He then went to work with the New York Telephone Company retiring as a plant technician. Joseph was of the Christian faith. Joseph is survived by his loving wife Irene, daughters; Jolene Myers, Linda Buckel and Lori Busch, sons; Joseph Busch Jr., and Alexander Busch, 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. A service to celebrate Joseph's life was held with Military Honors by the US Navy Honor Guard at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 16, 2017, a the Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Avon Park.
