Joseph R. Arvay, 76, of Lake Placid went to be with his Lord on Sunday morning December 1, 2013 at the Lake Placid Health Care Center. He was born on January 2, 1937 at Shamokin, PA to parents Anna (Speshock) and Benjamin Dudginski. He served his country in the US Army as well as the Clover Hose Fire Company in Mt. Carmel, PA. A retired Chef he moved to Lake Placid in 2001 from Vero Beach, FL. Joseph was a member of the VFW, American Legion and the Loyal Order of The Moose. Mr. Arvay was of the Catholic Faith. Mr. Arvay was preceded in death by his loving wife Sylvia in 2002 and is survived by his loving daughters, Sandra, Diane and Donna; 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and a sister Anna. Services for the family will be held at a later date.
