John H. Wike, Jr., 66, of Lake Placid passed away Friday morning August 27, 2010 at his residence. He was born on September 29, 1943 in Coatesville, PA to parents John H. and Grace (Baker) Wike. Mr. Wike moved to Lake Placid in 1989 form NE Maryland and was a craftsman making signs and was of the Lutheran faith. Mr. Wike is preceded in death by his parents, a brother; Richard and is survived by his loving wife of 24 years Brenda, daughter; Kim Steinberger, son: John R. Wike, 3 grandchildren and 2 sisters. Private services were held for the family.
