Obituary

John Jerry Pasquino, 88, of Lake Placid, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015. Jerry was born Oct 17, 1926 in Paulsboro, NJ, moved to Hollywood, FL in 1960 and then to Lake Placid, FL in 1980. He was preceded in death by his wife Sarann, his son Tom, his brother Lou and sister Carmen. He is survived by his sons, Bill Pasquino of Casselberry, FL; Jerry Pasquino of Lake Placid, FL; daughter, Sandra Cooper of Lake Stevens, WA. and his brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Barbara Pasquino of Summerville, SC. His grandchildren are Anthony Pasquino, Shawn Cooper, Brandi Pasquino, Andrea Pasquino, and Sabrina Pasquino. His great-grandchildren are David, Amonie and Keoni Pasquino, and Eli Maulden. Jerry was a lifetime member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge and achieved the degree of 'Pilgrim'. He was also a lifetime member of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans and "Commanders Club" and Veterans of Foreign Wars, as well as a member of the Lake Placid Elks; He served in the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Navy during WWII in the Pacific as an electrician and served his country for 17 years. He worked all his life as an electrician and retired from the City of Pembroke Pines, FL. prior to moving to Lake Placid, FL. He was a hard working man who loved doing things for others. His lasagna and cheesecake will be missed by many! A memorial service will be held at the Moose Lodge at 11675 US 98 East, Sebring, FL 33876 on Sept. 19, 2015 at 2:00pm.
