John Bernard Moretto, 55, of Lake Placid went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, May 10, 2021 at the Advent Health Lake Placid Hospital. John was born on March 8, 1966 in Danville, Illinois and was the son of Marcia Sparrow Hestand and Edward Moretto.  John has been a resident of Lake Placid since the 1980's after moving here from Illinois and Kentucky.  He was the owner and operator of Moretto Window Tinting here in Highlands County and was a DJ for many years at WWOJ.  John was a member of the Community Church of God in Lake Placid and the NRA.  He had passion for both photography and NASCAR, his favorite driver Jeff Gordon "24", and enjoyed diving and grilling with his friends and family on the weekends. John is survived by his loving daughters; Helen Moretto and Sarah Montero, his parents and a sister; Christina Lyons of Ironton, Ohio.  In keeping with John's wishes, services to celebrate his life will take place on Sunday, May 23rd at 4:00 P.M.at Community Church of God.
