Joseph B. Pinder, Jr. "Joey" 61 of Lake Placid went to be with his Lord on Saturday July 24, 2010 at his residence. A native of Miami, FL, Joey was born on August 7, 1948 to parents Joseph B. and Florence M.(Ackerman) Pinder. He moved to Highlands County in 1988 and to Lake Placid in 2006 where he was the custodian and member of the Eastside Christian Church of Lake Placid. Joey is survived by his uncle; Charles W. Pinder of TN and cousin; Roy Pinder of Key West and many friends and extended church family members. A service celebrating Joey's life was held 2:00 PM Saturday August 14, 2010 at the Eastside Christian Church of Lake Placid with Pastor Roy Culpepper celebrating.
