Our beloved JoAnn entered the loving arms of Jesus surrounded by her loving family at her side on March 2 nd , 2020. She was born June 24, 1935 in Gadsen County FL to the daughter of George Rahme and Merle Singleton and preceded in death by her loving daughter Jillayne Jo Denkhaus who was taken from us too early. She is survived by her devoted, faithful true love of 65 years, David Duane Denkhaus Sr. Along with her loving family, daughter Julie Denkhaus Ladd/ Ed Ladd, Son David Denkhaus Jr./ Gina Denkhaus, Grandson Jeffrey Weeks/ Melissa Weeks, Grandson Cody Ladd/ Kati Ladd, Great Grandsons Logan Weeks, Cayden Ladd, Chase Nelson, Great Granddaughter Cambry Nelson. The Grandchildren knew she was always there for them. Logan and Cayden loved going to MeeMaw's and never left her home with empty bellies or pockets. Sisters: Frankie Keys/ Donald, Mari Beth Singleton, Cissy Pelfrey/ Danny, Suzy Singleton, Cindy Erdmann/ Ken, Xandy Hart/ Kevin. Brothers: Buddy Singleton/ Judy, Larry Rahme/ Bonnie, Gary Rahme, Leo Singleton/ Arlene. Who all knew her as their second Momma. She was the favorite Aunt to a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews who all knew she loved them dearly. She was co-owner of Dave's Auto Sales in Ft. Myers, FL for 44 years. She worked at Lee County Bank in Fort Myers, FL. She was a Grey Lady at Edgewood Elementary in Ft. Myers, FL. JoAnn's passions for gardening, fossil hunting, mineral collecting and book reading were eclipsed by her passion for loving and giving to others. The large number of people that could consider themselves adopted family are many. We all love and miss you so much!! Service for JoAnn is at Scott Funeral Home, Saturday March 7, 2020 at 11AM.
