Joan Lee Miller, 90, of Lake Placid went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at her residence.  She was a native Floridian who was born in Sarasota, on November 10, 1927 to parents Sudie (Johnson) and Lindsey Lee.  A long time resident of Lake Placid, she moved here from the west coast of Florida as a young child. Joan was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing,.  She was of the Baptist faith who attended the First Baptist Church of Lake Placid.  Mrs. Miller enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grand and great-grandchildren.  She is survived by her loving daughter; Anita (Jeff)Baucom, three grandchildren; Andrew Baucom, Jenifer Cauffield and April Baucom, seven great grandchildren; Sean, Keegan, Carson, Kyndall, Emma, Grace and Mallory.
