Jillayne Jo Denkhaus, entered into the arms of Jesus surrounding by her loving family at her side January 7, 2020. She was born on August 7, 1956 in Fort Myers Florida. She is survived by her loving Family: Parents: David Denkhaus Sr and JoAnn Denkhaus, Sister: Julie Denkhaus Ladd/Husband Ed Ladd, Brother: David Denkhaus Jr./Wife Gina Denkhaus, Nephews: Jeffrey Weeks/Melissa Weeks, Cody Ladd/Kati Ladd Great Nephews: Logan Weeks, Cayden Ladd, Chase Nelson, Great Niece: Cambry Nelson, Host of loving Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Jillayne is a Fort Myers High School graduate class of 74. Jill loved the Lord with all of her heart her entire life. She was a member of Palm City Baptist Church in Fort Myers, Florida. Her career and passion was an exotic plant specialist. She owned Jill's Tropicals on Sanibel and Captiva Islands. National T.V. personality Willard Scott interviewed and wrote an article about Jill's exotic plant passion and prestigious career. She served the island community for 30 years. Willard Scott referenced Jill as 5 foot one loads of fun gotta plant for everyone 91 pounds of feminine exuberance. If there were a true Pied Piper of the Nursery World the name would be Jill Denkhaus. Jill was a fun loving "Great Aunt" to Logan and Cayden. They always looked forward to their visits with her playing video games. Their all time favorite was Angry Birds. Jill's favorite color was purple. Her pet peeve was "unhappy people because she said there was too much to live for".
