IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jeffery "Jeff"
Scott Hill
June 22, 1943 – August 13, 2023
Jeffery "Jeff" Scott Hill, 80, of Lake Placid, FL passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023 after a brief illness. Jeff was born in Miami and later resided in the New England area in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He moved back to Florida in 1994 and lived in the Palm Beach County area until moving full time to he and his wife's weekend getaway home in Lake Placid in 2008. He had previously retired as a General Contractor in the building and remodeling industry, but continued working at E.O. Koch of Sebring, FL for a few years starting in 2008. He was of the Christian faith and an active life member of the Lake Placid Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge, serving 2 terms as past Governor, he also served as District President and was awarded Legion & Fellow standing. He was an associate member of the American Legion Post #25 of Lake Placid. Jeff enjoyed the water and boating. He lived for football season and was a loyal New England Patriots fan even in the not so winning seasons. He mostly loved to be with family and friends any time they could get together. Jeffery is survived by his loving wife of 17 years of marriage, Lynn; beloved daughter Samantha Alden, son in-law Philip Alden, two grandchildren whom he shared a very special bond with, Jacob and Benjamin Alden; beloved stepson Jason Eckenrod and Jeff's first wife Diane Palladino. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Janet Frazer, sister-in-laws, Jeanette Viola, Amy Frazer, Beth Yi and brother-in-law Steve Yi, all of whom he was extremely close with. He also had a special bond with his nephew Aiden Frazer and was devoted to staying close with his nieces Erica & Caitlyn Yi, and Amanda & Alycia Viola. Jeff was taken so quickly from this world despite putting up a good fight. It will take us all time to adjust and he is already terribly missed. In keeping with Jeff's wishes, the family will celebrate his life privately. A public celebration of life may be planned at a later date.
