Jeanne Morris Ehlers went peacefully to be with her late husband Alfred on May 21, 2020. She was born on May 11, 1933 in Far Rockaway, NY. Jeanne married Al on Mar 23, 1952 after he finished his tour of duty in the Army. She is survived by her 2 sons – Bruce and his wife Alice of Lake Placid, FL and Michael and his wife Janine of Inwood, NY. Grandchildren include Amanda and husband Matthew Hugelmann of Colorado Springs, CO; Erin and husband Justin Pereira of Melbourne, FL; Shannon Ehlers of Inwood, NY. There are 2 great granddaughters – Oakley and Elijah who live in Colorado Springs with their mom and dad. There are many nieces and nephews all around the country and a sister-in-law Johanna Blake of Monee, IL. Jeanne and Alfred move from Long Island to Lake Placid, FL in November, 1990. They were both a big part of their community and will be missed. Family will make plans at a later date.
