Janelle Martin Marr, 75, of Lake Placid went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 2, 2023. Janelle was born on August 30, 1948 in West Palm Beach and was the daughter of Myrtice (Harris) and Joe B. Martin. She was raised in Belle Glade and moved to Dunnellon after retiring from Palm Beach County Fleet Management. Janelle has been a resident of Lake Placid for the past year and a half. She was an avid reader and enjoyed keep up with everyone on Facebook. Janelle loved to be with family and friends, and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving children; Connie Tucker Reece (Coy), Jason M. Tucker (Kimmy) four grandchildren and sister Carol Lamb (Larry). A farewell service to celebrate Janelle's life will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 15, 2023 (Today) at the Scott Seawinds Funeral Home, 504 West Interlake Blvd. Lake Placid, FL, with Pastor Cary McKee officiating. Janelle will be laid to rest at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at a later date.
