Janelle is preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Marcell Mullinex Compton and her father Everett Compton; her husbands, Walter F Irey and James B Gurganious; her son Louis (Larry) Lawrence Berg III and step daughter Julie Gurganious. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Colon, sons William Berg, Michael Irey and Jay Gurganious, as well as 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She resided at Balmoral Assisted Living Center in Lake Placid, and attended Grace Bible Church in Sebring
