Janalene McFarlane, 86, of Lake Placid passed away Tuesday night June 15, 2010 at the Southern Lifestyle. She was born on March 22, 1924 in Oakdale, TN to parents Milton Joseph and Eva Lena (Johnson) Walker. Mrs. McFarlane, a retired registered nurse with 40 years of nursing moved to Florida three years ago from Harriman, TN. residing in Lake Placid for the past year and a half. She attended the Lake Placid Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Lake Placid. Mrs. McFarlane is survived by her loving sister; Bonnie Cline and many nieces and nephews. A private service was held for the family.
