James L. Moore "Jimmy", 93, of Sebring went to be with his Lord on Friday evening April 27, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 28, 1918 in Mulberry, FL to parents Juanita Durden and Wesley L. Moore. Mr. Moore moved to the Lake Placid Sebring area 30 years ago from Lorida. A long time employee and retiree, with Lykes Brothers, where Mr. Moore was a mechanic. Mr. Moore enjoyed fishing, hunting and working on machinery and loved spending time with family and friends. A member of the Faith Baptist Church in Lake Placid. Mr. Moore is survived by his loving wife of 73 years Arlene, daughters; Miriam Sanders (Charles), and Nancy Boney (Bobby), sons; James Moore (Sadie) and Dale Moore (Brenda), 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Wednesday May 2, 2012 with funeral services following at 2:00 PM at the Faith Baptist Church 660 Holmes Avenue, Lake Placid with Pastor Bill Cole officiating.
