James Richard Elmore "Rick", 52, of Las Vegas, NV formally of Lake Placid went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 8, 2018 in Las Vegas.  Rick was a native of Highlands County who was born on October 24, 1965 to parents Jean (Williams) and Jimmy Elmore.  Rick moved to Las Vegas in 2005 where he worked in transportation risk management.  Rick had a passion for ministry and served as a full time minister for most of his adult years. He enjoyed music and was a talented and gifted musician and accomplished photographer.  Rick loved to spend time with his family and friends especially his grandchildren.  Rick is preceded in death by grandparents Samuel and Grace Williams and James and Hassie Elmore; sister Angela Elmore, and granddaughter Zsariah Moore. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years Raylene, daughters; Zsavetta Browning  and Zsavanna Elmore, six grandchildren, his mother; Jean Williams, father; Jimmy Elmore, sister; Theresa Baker and half sister, Rose Mary Grant.  A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the Placid Temple Church of God 51 Lake June Road, Lake Placid .  A funeral service to celebrate Rick's life will follow the visitation with Pastors Dennis Wayne West and Dwayne Evors officiating.  Graveside services 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Placid.  Words of comfort to the family can be made by visiting www.scottfuneralservices.com .  Funeral arrangements entrusted with the Scott Funeral Home 504 W.
