James Wesley Browning (known by those around him as Wes), 55, of Lake Placid went home to be with his Lord and Savior, early Tuesday morning, December 1, 2020  with his wife and daughter by his side. Wes was a native Floridian who was born in Sebring on October 1, 1965. He was the son of Ona Faye and William "Bill" Browning. Wes was a graduate of Lake Placid High School as a part of the Class of 1983. He worked in the construction industry as a electrician.   In is spare time he enjoyed fishing, woodworking, cooking, playing his guitar and listening to music. What he loved the most is spending time with family and friends, especially  his grandchildren. Wes was preceded in death by his father, mother, and his 3 brothers; Curtis, Bobby, and Harold. Wes is survived by his loving wife Terri, daughter Bailey and 4 stepsons, Daniel, Nathaniel, Mitchiel, and Mykiel Miller, and 9 grandchildren. Along with a sister Alice Newhouse.

Services to celebrate Wes's life will be held on December 12,2020 at Highlands Park Estates Clubhouse from 11-4 with a toast to Wes's life at 1:30.  Family and Friends are welcomes to come and help us celebrate.
