Jacquelyn H. Coy, 79, of Lake Placid went to be with her Lord on Wednesday evening December 4, 2013 at her residence. A native Miamian, Mrs. Coy was born on June 7, 1934 to parents Helen (Brown) and Herbert Hagelgans. Jacquelyn moved to Lake Placid from Kendall where she retired as a real estate broker. She was a member of the Lake Placid Women's Club, Ladies of the Shiners and was of the Baptist faith. Jacquelyn enjoyed traveling in her motor home, taking cruises going to the casinos and loved spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Coy is survived by her loving husband of 38 years Robert "Bob" Coy; son, Roy Bowling; step-daughter, Barbara Markinson; two grandsons, David and Roy and sister, Babs Robson. A service to celebrate Mrs. Coy's life will be held 4:00 PM Friday December 13, at the Scott Funeral Home 504 W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid, FL with Pastor Andrew C. Conyer officiating
