Jack R. Lennon, age 93, of Chiefland passed away Thursday July 8, in the North Florida Regional Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. He was born in Wauchula, Florida & had been a resident of Lake Placid for 45 years before moving to Chiefland in 1990. He was a devoted husband, to the late Blanche Lennon and a loving father. He was a member of the Memorial United Methodist Church in Lake Placid. He is survived by two daughters, Patsy Lennon of Lakeland and Betty Nemann of Cincinnati, Ohio; one son; David Lennon (Sandi) of Chiefland; thirteen (13) grandchildren; twenty six (26) great-grandchildren and seven (7) great-great-grandchildren; special friend Winnie Gordon. He was preceded in death by his son Bobby Lennon in 1991. A service celebrating Mr. Lennon's life will be from the Scott Funeral Home on Friday, July 16 at 11:00 A.M. with Brother Glen Webber leading the celebrating. Interment will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Placid.
