Idolina Rodriguez, 97, of Lake Placid went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, January 23, 2024 at her residence. Idolina was born in Venezuela on May 21, 1926 and she was the daughter of Encarnacion (Gonzalez) and Maximo Parra. Idolina has been a resident of Lake Placid for over 35 years, moving here from Miami. She was of the Catholic faith and attended the St. James Catholic Church. Idolina enjoyed crocheting and knitting, gardening and working around the house, she loved to be with her family and friends whenever they could get together, especially time with her grand and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Alvaro Rodriguez, and is survived by her loving children; Nancy Rodriguez, Alvaro, Simon and Luis Rodriguez, four grandchildren; Aisha, Daniel, Jivani and Mike and two great-grandchildren; Damian and Donovan. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Idolina's life will be held 1:00 PM,  Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the St. Catherine Catholic Church 820 Hickory Street, Sebring with Father Jose Gonzalez officiating.
