Obituary
Hubert Earl Tyler, 72, of Lake Placid went to be with his Lord on Sunday morning July 27, 2014 surrounded by his family at the Tampa General Hospital. He was born on December 8, 1941 in Bladenboro, NC to parents Martha (Hester) and Mack Tyler.
Earl moved to Lake Placid in 1956 from North Carolina and was a retired heavy equipment operator. Mr. Tyler was of the Baptist faith. Earl enjoyed woodworking, gardening, visiting flea markets, car shopping and custom car painting, and loved spending time with his family and friends.
Earl is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Pencia and he is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Connie; daughters, Debra Barfield and Peggy Nemeth; sons, Robbie Tyler and Eddie Tyler; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be from 6 PM to 8 PM this Thursday evening July 31, 2014 with funeral services to celebrate Earl's life 10AM Friday August 1, 2014 at the Scott Funeral Home 504 W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid with Pastor Ronnel Barfield officiating. Burial will follow the services at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
