Helen I. Norris was born on 9/8/35 in Bayonne, New Jersey to Frank S. Norris and Margaret I. (Hoff) Norris. She entered into Glory, quietly Friday night March 8th, 2024. Helen was a livelong Lutheran and a recent member of Trinity Lutheran Church.  Helen graduated from Point Pleasant Beach High School in 1953 and was a long-time resident of this shore community. She was a lifelong banker, beginning her career at Ocean County National Bank in January 1954. Helen rose through the corporate ranks until she became a Vice-President. Upon her retirement in 1994, she moved to Wellington, Florida where she resided until moving to Lake Placid in 2017. Helen was preceded in death by her father Frank Norris, her mother Margaret Norris, and her brothers George and Donald Norris. She is survived by 2 nephews; Richard Norris of Lake Placid, Fl. John Norris of Clermont, Fl. 3 nieces; Jean Shibler of Lake Worth, Fl. Gail Freel of N. Palm Beach, Fl. and Susan Manning of Clermont, Fl. Additionally, she has 5 Grandnephews and 5 Grandnieces and 1 Great Grandnephew and 5 Great Grandnieces. Helen lived a life of true Christian servant leadership caring for many loved ones throughout her life and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. There will be a memorial service held April 13th, 2024 at 2:00PM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 25 Lakeview Street, Lake Placid, Florida 33852. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made either to Trinity Tots Preschool Scholarship Fund or Trinity Lutheran Church Memorial Fund for a future purchase of an item.
