Harry L. Fritzius, Sr., 89, of Lake Placid went home to be with his Lord on Friday, February 19, 2021 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, Florida.  Harry was born on August 2, 1931 in New Brighton, PA and was the son of Margaret (Beaty) and Earl Fritzius.  Harry was the owner and operator of the H & M Vending Company in Broward County.  After retiring he moved to Lake Placid in 2002 from Broward County.  Harry was of the Baptist faith.  He enjoyed football, the beach, listing to music, and was a big Elvis Presley fan and he loved his dog "Hannah".  He loved to be with his family and friends anytime they could get together. Harry is survived by Marjorie, his loving wife of 58 years, daughters:  Linda Berringer and Deborah Rhodes, sons:  Ty Fritzius (wife Josse), Harry Fritzius, Jr. (wife Marion), 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandson, sisters: Sally Maruca and Emily Oldaker; his sisters by marriage: Eleanor Witham, Martha Schnelker, Carol Spruill, brother; John Maruca, and brother by marriage Kenneth Spruill.  Harry was preceded in death by his beloved sisters in law Mary Faye Baker and Leona Fritzius, brothers: Beryl, Bill, and Bob Fritzius, and Ronnie Maruca, brother in law David Schnelker Sr., and his son in law, Linda's husband Dana Berringer. Services to celebrate Harry's life will be held at a later date.
