Harold Joseph Morgan, Jr., 93, of Lake Placid went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, February 3, 2021.  Harold was born on September 20, 1927 in Clinton, New York.  He was the son of Frances (Roach) and Harold Joseph Morgan, Sr.  Harold served his country with honors in the U.S. Navy.  After serving his country, Harold attended SUNY Morrisville and was later employed at the college.  He retired as the Director of Food Services and moved to Lake Placid, FL where he has been a resident for the past 30 years.  Harold was a member of the Lions, a Mason and attended the Methodist Church in Lake Placid.  In his earlier years, Harold enjoyed fishing on the St. Lawrence river, he also enjoyed cooking, catering events and traveling the country.  He loved to be with his family and friends anytime they could get together.  Harold is survived by Norma,his wife of 68 years, son; Albert, 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and sister; Jean.  Harold was predeceased by his daughter Grenda.  A service to celebrate Harold's life will be held at a later date in Upstate New York.
