Harold Chester Hurm, Jr. 77of Lake Placid, Florida passed away on July 21st, 2025 at his residence. Harold was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania March 23, 1948 to Harold Hurm Sr. and Dorothy (Hand) Hurm. Harold and his family later moved to Ohio where he attended school. Upon graduating from high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. Prior to his deployment he married Linda (Kaltenbach) Hurm.

They eventually moved to Liberty Center, Ohio. Harold worked as a heavy equipment operator for an asphalt construction company. He was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Liberty Center. Upon his retirement in 2001 Harold, Linda and Amanda moved to Lake Placid, Florida. Harold, Linda and Amanda became active members of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lake Placid and enjoyed the relaxed Florida lifestyle.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, sister Nancy Limpf and his wife Linda Hurm. He is survived by his sisters Dorothy Haas, Mary Tebbe, his daughter Amanda Hurm and his wife Kathryn Hurm.
