Haley Nicole Stepp, 29, of Lake Placid went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at the Advent Health Lake Placid Hospital. Haley was born on December 4, 1995, in Mattoon, Illinois and was the daughter of Irene and Dave Carter, and Tony Stepp. Haley has been a resident of the Lake Placid area for the past eleven years, moving here from Mattoon, Illinois. Haley had a passion for baseball and loved being a part of Miracle League Baseball. Haley knew and loved the Lord. She enjoyed being with her friends on the field as well as being with her family. Haley is survived by her parents Irene and Dave Carter, Tony Stepp, her brother; Levi Stepp, and her two step brothers; Brad and Alex Carter. She is proceeded in death by her maternal grandfather, James Ward and her paternal grandmother, Nancy Stepp, and many extended family members.
