Gregory G. McCloud ``Greg", 73, of Lake Placid went home to be with his Lord on Monday evening July 26, 2021 at his residence.  Greg was born on April 15, 1948 in Omaha, Nebraska and was the son of Lois (Graham) and Hal McCloud.  Greg has been a resident of Lake Placid for the past 10 years, moving here from St. Cloud, FL and formerly of Nebraska.  Greg was a retired iron worker with the Iron Workers Local 21 in Nebraska. Greg enjoyed being out on the lake fishing and working on airboats. The greatest joy was sharing his vast knowledge of airboats with the airboat community. He loved being with his family and friends.  Greg is survived by his loving wife of many years Beverly, daughter Ronda and Son-in Law Rob Thiessen, son; David & Daughter-in-Law Richelle Roth and two grandchildren Emily and Ben Ripa.  In keeping with Greg's wishes, services to celebrate his life will be private for the family.
