Gonzalo Vasquez

Gonzalo Vasquez, 91, of Lake Placid went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday morning November 28, 2018 at this residence surrounded by his loving family.  Gonzalo was the son of Bidhana and Encarnation Vasquez who was born of September 16, 1927 in Mercedes, Texas. Gonzalo has been a resident of Lake Placid for the past 31 years moving here from Jacksonville.  He was a retired foreman in the agriculture industry. Gonzalo was of the Catholic faith. He loved to be with his family. A service to celebrate Gonzalo's life will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Scott Funeral Home, 504 W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid with deacon Max Severe officiating.  A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow the service at the Oak Hill Cemetery. Immediately following the family will be welcoming guests after the service for fellowship and remembrance at 347 Sun N Lakes Blvd.
