Glenda M. Smith, 53, of Lake Placid went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at the Advent Health Lake Placid.  Glenda was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 1, 1966 to parents Sharon (Sterns) and Ralph Cosentino. Glenda has been a resident of Lake Placid since 1995 moving here from Ft. Lauderdale.  Glenda was a school bus driver with the Highlands County School Board, and worked for the local Winn Dixie and Publix Supermarkets. Glenda was of the Lutheran faith. She enjoyed motorcycle riding, football, four wheeling and being out in the sun working on her tan.  Glenda loved to be with her family and friends anytime they could get together and especially spending time with her grandson. Glenda is survived by her loving husband of the years Doug, son; Thomas Bottoms, grandson; Grant, Sister: Rose Calhoun and a Brother; Edward Nieft.  There will be a gathering and celebration of Glenda's life at starting at 3:00 PM, Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the family residence.
